Rafael Palmeiro slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at the ballpark as the
Enterprise Trekkers beat the Lewisville Fire Ants 4 to 2.
Palmeiro enjoyed a fine day at the plate. He delivered a solo blast in the
1st inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run (his 11th of
the season) in the 7th inning. The Lewisville batters went down meekly in
the bottom of the 9th.
Jose Lima(8-3) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 6 innings. Paul
Quantrill was credited with his 3rd save. Russ Ortiz(7-7) ended up with the
loss.
